Character 31. P4 (crown): anterior portion of entocingulum shape: shelf-like (0); slope-like (1); inapplicable (-). Remarks: Unordered. Outgroup Sorex and seven ingroup species, S. megalura, C. jouvenetae, C. olivieri, C. serezkyensis, C. zarudnyi, C. sapaensis, C. zaitsevi display shalf-like anterior portion of the entocingulum (Character 031: A). Three species, M. okuensis, C. yaldeni and C. leucodon display slope-like anterior portion of the entocingulum (Character 031: B). This character is inapplicable for outgroup Neomys and seven ingroup species, S. etruscus, S. murinus, S. johnstoni, C. obscurior, C. lasiura, C. phanluongi, D. pulchellum due to undeveloped the anterior portion of the cingulum [character 30, st. 0].
