Digital photomicrograph showing the morphology of osteocytes in the mid-diaphyseal humerus of Nyasasaurus. This image was taken at 100x total magnification under regular transmitted light (no filters) using a Nikon D300 DSLR camera attached to a Nikon Optiphot2-Pol light transmission microscope. The image was then edited in Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended to add a scale bar.
