Character 39. M1–M2 (root): roots number: four main roots (0); five main roots (1). Remarks: Unordered. Outgroup species and M. okuensis display four main roots on M1–M2, antero- and posterobuccal, antero- and posterolingual roots under the paracone, metacone, protocone and hypoconal flange, correspondingly. Each root bear a pulpal radicular canal (Character 039: A). Ingroup species display five roots with double most often separated roots under the protocone (Character 039: B); if the double roots are fused nevertheless the endodontic structures bear two radicular canals like to state of C. serezkyensis.
