Remarks: Unordered. Outgroup species display pigmented teeth (Character 043: B). All ingroup species display unpigmented teeth (Character 043: A). Previous authors used this character for phylogenetic analysis of extinct/extant Soricinae (Rofes & Cuenca-Bescós, 2009: character #1) and extinct Heterosoricinae (Ziegler, 2009: character #10).
